The apron fits the size. I would order one size larger if you often wear bulky fabrics like sweaters or sweatpants. I put mine in the washer and dryer, it's ok. The material isn't the quality I expected for the price, but it's not bad. Please note that the length depends on the pattern choice and possibly even on the quality of the fabric. I bought the "fall" look. The autumn colors of the leaves have not yet faded. It was machine (washer/dryer) about 6 times. Size and color are still ok. This one is long, above the waist.
