One device wouldn't turn on and off, the other turned off while walking. I think the point is that they are made out of thin silicone and turn on with little to no pressure. This resulted in it turning off easily when I was walking my small dog. I attached the device to the front loop on my dog's harness and that could be part of the problem as it rocks back and forth when walking and hits his chest. I guess that's why he passed out. I think in another place it can work, it should be in a place where it doesn't hit anything when swinging. I contacted the manufacturer and in the end they agreed to refund my money.
