Full disclosure: I didn't buy these to work out. I am a middle aged mom and executive who now works from home on the weekends. Since I've been sitting cross-legged on the bed the whole time, I tore up a pair of pajama bottoms and decided to try something more flexible but cozy. I haven't worn leggings in a while but the price was great and I thought they would fit. Serious. i am a convert These leggings are amazing. They are very stretchy - like some other reviewers, I was skeptical about their size when they arrived, but they stretch like crazy and don't lose opacity. The high waist is comfortable and doesn't cut me in half along my belly button like the old elastic waist bands did. They're warm when you're in the air conditioning, but not hot like some of the older models lined with heavy spandex or fleece. They don't feel heavy or feel like plastic. They also don't show every bulge. I mean. If you have bumpy legs (and there's nothing to be ashamed of), they don't have compression fibers so they won't be invisible, but they won't accentuate your cellulite either. I like her. It's just what I needed to comfortably hold conference calls during the day and chase my son around the garden at night. For $12 when they explode, I got my money's worth. Note: I slept in it last night. Also comfortable. I'm 5ft 9in, 215lbs and bought the plus size in black. Today I get more!
