Review on ECCO Women's Yucatan Sandal: Comfort, Style, and Durability Combined by Kari Reynolds

I almost always wear a size 9.5 B shoes, but with this shoe I had to go from a size 40 to a EU size 41 to get the length I needed. Instep and narrow heels, so I like 3 adjustable straps - if the sandal didn't have adjustable straps, the shoe would be too wide. The width of the size 40 was a bit tight at the front and too short in length. Size 41 is a bit big so if Ecco suggested size 40.5 it would be the perfect size. Since Ecco doesn't offer half sizes, I'm deducting a star from my rating. This is my second pair of Ecco shoes and on both occasions I have had to go up a size. I also found that I could only wear Ecco shoes if they had adjustable straps - every other Ecco style I tried wouldn't work on my foot - they were either too short or too big so I needed straps to compensate for this. I didn't like the hard sole and insole but after manually flexing the sole where the toes flex at the ball of the foot it was very comfortable so I completely changed my mind. I see it as my favorite everyday shoe when the weather gets warm. Finally, my wardrobe consists of a lot of black clothes, so the Atmosphere/Ice/Black color combination works well for me – it's very neutral and I think it's more stylish than the more solid black.
