We loved this bike until my son flipped the handlebars and hit his face on the pavement, knocking out his front tooth. He had only been riding it for three months when the front wheel locked up and it tipped over the handlebars. The bike has a design flaw that is not noticeable when new but makes the bike dangerous over time. The front fork has two metal eyelets that abut a metal horn on the bike frame to prevent front wheel spin. After a while the metal grommets on my son's bike started rubbing against the metal ring causing them to slide together instead of touching causing his bike wheel to lock to the side. This is a design flaw that resulted in my son being seriously injured. Please do not buy this bike!
