Review on 📚 One Last Time (The Second Time Around Book 2): A Captivating Sequel by Adara Delgado

Last time I realized I'm just addicted to Corinne's books. Every time I read one of them, all I do is immerse myself in the stories. "This book is funny," she said. "There's no such thing as crying!" she said. Yeah right! Right at the gate, Korin gutted me in the first chapter. It was a raw and hard look at the life Christine had lived for a long time. I myself was in a similar situation a long time ago and could feel everything Christine was feeling, every emotion piercing my chest like a sharp knife. BUT it doesn't take long for Korine to take the story in a more comfortable direction. That direction would be Noah Frazier. Kristin and Noah may have just climbed to the top of Corinne's list of my favorite couples. Christine is such a strong heroine even when she feels like she's failing. And Noah just fainted Nth degree! Their chemistry is off the charts and the respect Noah shows Kristin throughout the story automatically earned him points from me. Although the last thing Christine needs to do right now is start a relationship with someone, she can't deny the feelings. she has for Noah who are getting stronger every day. The way he supports her in every way, especially when it comes to her children, shows her that there really are still good, decent guys out there who know how to treat a woman the way they deserve. How beautiful is Noah in this book! And finding out what his backstory is only made me fall in love with him even more. He admits his feelings for Christine, although they frighten him because he feels something about her that he has never felt about any other woman. And once you find it, you won't let it go. The path these two have taken has been a bumpy one, thanks to Christine's ex-husband being a real part of the job. But the two were keen to find out what the future held for them. It was great to see all the supporting characters that we first met on We Own Tonight. If you haven't read this book yet, don't worry, you will meet some great characters and I guarantee that next time you will want to come back and read this book just to see more of them! And the cameo appearance of two very popular characters from one of Korine's early works was the best! Ahhh, how did I miss her! Corinne fills this book with lots of emotion, a good dose of suspense and balances it with some pretty funny moments and two adorable kids to fall in love with! I really like this book! And when you get to the end, Korine links to a bonus epilogue not to be missed. I confess I cried reading this, but they were happy, juicy tears. I desperately hope Corinne will tell us Nicole's story, she was amazing in this book and We Own Tonight so I know her story is going to be crazy!
