Review on DLD Mirror Finish Stainless Teakettle Compatible by Joe Greiner

I love the look of this old fashioned shiny pewter teapot! And I find it pleasantly strange (smiles). I just received this today. So I did what other people wrote in their reviews. I removed the brewer thing from it as I only needed boiling water for a cup of hot tea. I filled this cauldron to the highest inner opening to make sure it whistled. Then I returned to my television program. A few moments later I heard a car horn. And I was like, "Why is anyone out there honking their car horn?" Then I remembered the review saying that this kettle was more like a horn than a whistle (smiles)! Yes, it sounds TOTALLY like a french horn if you ask me! It's not an annoying city horn. Just the "normal" sound of a car horn coming out of a "whistling" kettle. I like it too much to say it's a rejection. I prefer to call it my weird, eye-catching addition to the stove (smiles).
