I had used the same round, boar bristle brush for years. I purchased it at my salon. Over the years I've purchased other brushes but none were as good as that original. I always made sure I had that brush whenever I went on vacation etc. Well imagine my horror when one day I misplace this brush. Ordered this brush. It came in and I was skeptical. The bristles are not as long and are stiffer than my original round brush. First time using I noticed the resistance I didn't have with my old brush. That's a good thing. Helps to pull the hair straight and smooth, making it shiny too. Verdict: this brush is better than my old one and I wish I bought it sooner!
