Yes. This shovel is the worst designed and made item I have ever purchased from Revain. Or maybe through any place. Let me point out its shortcomings: 1). The scoop is too close to the mechanism that can empty it. As a result, it's IMPOSSIBLE to scoop anything without gluing the entire tool together. It's so obvious that I feel stupid for not noticing it on the product picture. I don't think anyone has ever tested it or even used it. It's obvious how shitty that is. 2). The cheap handle is awkward and uncomfortable. I kept trying to find a comfortable way to hold it and work with the ratchet. Vain. General.3). If you don't have a dishwasher, you probably won't be able to clean it after the first use, or ever again. Again, this is because the bowl release mechanism is full of nooks and crannies for batter, ice cream, or whatever can get stuck. So don't even think about buying this designer disaster. I threw it away and won't buy it again.
