Review on πŸ”Œ RoadPro 25-Foot Hardwire Replacement 2-Wire 22-Gauge Parallel Wiring by Mark Colbert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

20-gauge copper 17 strands

On the back of the box it says 20-gauge wire; However, if you look closely at the markings/text printed on the wire, it is clearly marked as 22 gauge (reason for 4 stars). This wasn't a problem for me due to the application I bought it for. I use it as the main power line for several computer fans at 12V <0.2 amps. All of these fans have 26 gauge wires, so that primary 22 gauge power supply is fine. - It seems to me that they are copper wires / the smell on my fingers after twisting the strands. - 17 strands make a common wire - the outer jacket seems to be thicker than it should be so it was a little harder for me to crimp the crimp connectors I was using, but everything works fine - the positive and negative wire jackets are attached though are easier to separate with a fingernail/pull or with a knife if care is taken to stay right in the center of the joint
