This is a wire. - Car Electronics Accessories

I have 25 feet of 20 ga wire. It's twisted, not hard. There is a coil with two wires - one red and one black. They are glued but pull apart easily like headphone cords.

  • Pretty impressive

This is the cable: Power and ground wire

I used it to connect 18 watt LED lights to my truck and it worked fine. Should I have used a thicker cable? Possible, but it works fine. I used about 6 inches by 25 feet so I have plenty to use on other projects.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Interval

Bred on this wire!

Durable and effective do-it-yourself antenna wire. This is the first time I've enjoyed a clear CW picture with an old school antenna made with this wire, which no other antenna I've purchased can match.

Red means positive. Suitable for both power and ground cables

What else can be said about the cable not mentioned. This material conducts electricity very well. When measuring resistance across the entire strand, my multimeter couldn't read low enough to read anything other than zero. As a bonus, I came up with a cute lifehack! You can use red wire for positive voltage and black wire for ground. No more guesswork!

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • So-so

It's holding up well and I see no reason for it.

I needed a thin wire for some LED lights. Local stores only have heavier items that are not very flexible. It was a lot easier to get through the nooks and crannies when I was laying it. It has worked well so far and I see no reason why it shouldn't work for as long as I need it to. Next time I need some I'll see if they have coils. There's nothing worse than needing a wire in the middle of a project.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • obsolete

20-gauge copper 17 strands

On the back of the box it says 20-gauge wire; However, if you look closely at the markings/text printed on the wire, it is clearly marked as 22 gauge (reason for 4 stars). This wasn't a problem for me due to the application I bought it for. I use it as the main power line for several computer fans at 12V <0.2 amps. All of these fans have 26 gauge wires, so that primary 22 gauge power supply is fine. - It seems to me that they are copper wires / the smell on my fingers after twisting the…
