I bought this strainer for one purpose only, to strain homemade yoghurt. It lets in some solids in the beginning, but very minimally. Then only the serum comes in. Suitable for half-litre batches. Easy to empty and easy to clean, just rinse and put in the dishwasher. For some reason Revain sends this in an envelope and the first one came broken but I got a replacement quickly. Making yoghurt just got easier! Update: You need to find the right time for your yogurt to thicken enough so it doesn't spill through the strainer. We believe that 12 hours of incubation/cultivation is sufficient. We accidentally poured yogurt into the strainer after 11 hours and too much solids went through the strainer.
