Review on Bilstein 24 146708 5100 Shock Absorber by Jimmy Koroye

These shocks have just been installed by a pro as have several upgrades together (shocks, springs and arms). Driven about 100 miles so far, mostly on the road to make sure there are no traction, under/oversteer issues. Overall, the on-road ride is smoother and without the noticeable jump that I experienced with the stock parts. Tougher on dirt roads with lots of tightly spaced potholes, but that's to be expected from any suspension system. Installing the shock absorber with the car raised took very little time compared to the wishbones, totaling about 1 hour for removal and installation with springs being passed through at the same time. I would recommend this model to those who have a stroke of over 1 inch but less than 3.5 inches.
