I have been using Gabriel Hijackers for over 40 years and have replaced the kit that was on my 76 K5 Blazer. I ride monster tires and do a body lift, not a suspension lift. The set I took off I put on in 1990 and blew them away, one shock absorber was starting to leak so I replaced the set, the shock absorbers were still fine except for a slow leak. They used to be painted white and had Gabriel's stickers on them, now they're "regular black Janes". When I'm loaded they keep my blazer straight and the ride isn't bad most of the time. I load them at 120psi, which is a tough ride, and they used to be rated at 250psi, now they're down to 200. They raise the back almost 4 inches when I need it; The hardest part is finding someone who has high pressure air so I can inflate them. I split the lines so they each have their own entrance so the blazer doesn't move air back and forth, which is critical on the hill I'm sideways on.
