Thekkiinngg Powder coated steel sheet - ideal for PETG

The PRUSA Mk3 version with flexible textured steel and textured PEI print bed is as good as I've heard and my best print surface yet. This version works fine, at least with PETG which I usually use. Even long, narrow prints hold up well enough to avoid warping, shifting, or premature popping out, but come off fairly easily once the bed has cooled. this is how the Prusa textured sheets should work and sometimes does. Finding a good surface for PETG wasn't easy for me. With everything else I've tried, PETG either sticks too well or doesn't stick at all. Thekkiinngg seems to have got it right with this textured hand. The textured finish of the pieces is nice and even the print, which ran the full width of the bed, just 50mm deep and 100mm high, stuck and didn't warp. a must for Prusa Mk2.5 and Mk3 users! Use it with Prusa sheets and you should end up with something that works for most occasions.

Pros
  • Save yourself problems (bubbles) when the plastic film has shrunk after a period of use.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
