So I bought this out of desperate need to keep disgusting houseflies from getting into the mouths of our beer bottles. We weren't sure if it would fit beer bottles, but we decided anyway. We are so happy we made it! Although advertised for wine bottles (works the same as advertised for wine bottles) it fits beer bottles like a glove. Although it's tight enough that the liquid can't spill if the bottle is dropped, it takes less energy to remove than removing the beer cap that came with the bottle. We bought different colors and now anyone who decides to go for it will know exactly which drink is theirs if they refuse it for a moment. In short, this product was the perfect solution to our pesky pest problem. These lids are simple, great looking, elegant and very functional for wine and beer bottles. We have already received a lot of positive feedback from our friends and neighbors. Great value for the solutions and simplicity these bottle caps offer. Oh, I almost forgot. Washed several times in the dishwasher, no problem!
