I needed a hat that fits well and is easy to remove. Also wanted to store open wine bottles on the side in the fridge. They are perfect for that.

You can put the bottle on its side and don't worry about it leaking. Very sure. It also adds little to the height of the bottle when chilled, which can be a problem if the cork is too tall.

Simple but useful. I like that they are flat so they fit easily in my not-so-large fridge. I use them for wine and all other necessary bottles. When the lid of the sauce bottle broke, that worked too.

Great capper, sold for wine bottles but works well with glass pop bottles! We love the old-school cola from Mexico sold by various vendors in the US. Storing unused portions was an issue until we bought these caps. Work like a charm!

We use them for lemonades in glass bottles that run out so quickly. They are easy to apply, close well and the contents stay fizzy for 24-36 hours. They seal fairly well, but I wouldn't recommend shaking the bottle or laying it on its side - there's pressure in that fizz and there's a lot of friction in the seal.

We just bought a new fridge. The shelf above where we intended to store open wine bottles was so close to the lower shelf that open wine bottles with protruding corks did not stand up straight. The bottles would tip over and sometimes fall out when the fridge door was opened. The top shelf is not adjustable. Using these caps instead of tall wine corks saved the day. Excellent quality. Reasonable price. Would buy again.

So I bought this out of desperate need to keep disgusting houseflies from getting into the mouths of our beer bottles. We weren't sure if it would fit beer bottles, but we decided anyway. I thought they were harder to put on and take off. No, they just go. Maybe too easy, really. I've used them on Mexican Coke bottles, Jarritos soda bottles, beer and wine bottles. Everything worked, I had no liquid leaks even when I turned the bottle upside down. It's unlikely I can do an accurate test for carbon dioxide leaks, but it seems very low, if any. However, I can imagine that increasing the level of carbon dioxide in the bottle could cause that cap to fly right off the bottle. Because…
