This is the first negative review I have ever written. *** but read the update *** I was sent 3 Mig flare tips, each one was too small to fire even .024 or .030. They sent me a flux near 0.045. You can imagine how excited I was to bring this supposedly great car to my workshop for cash and be impressed. I even took a friend with me who was also hoping I'd become a guinea pig before I bought one. The Hobart 140's tip is screwed in, but it's half as long and its nozzle is as long. We actually tried drilling a hole in its tip, but there appears to be a piece of ceramic in the tip. I broke three tiny pieces trying to accomplish this feat. We were still determined to make this work and were about to cut the nozzle off, but then I said "two tears in a bucket". I stuffed all the unpacking back into the box and put it under the workbench where I think it will stay. The device didn't look bad to be honest, and pretty much everything looked of decent quality. I can't find these long tips anywhere. Almost bought another MIG torch but these sellers don't list wire/tip sizes. HITBOX, UNITWELD, fix it and I'll update this review. I'll also give you a YouTube video review when it finally goes live. ***UPDATE*** I bought and tried a different MIG torch wire. Used the machine for several hours with 1mm gasless wire. I don't normally use a flux core, but I decided to give it a try to get a bottle-less travel mic. So far, so good. Runs way hotter than you think, burned a hole through about 3/16 inch so I turned the revs down. It works fine, I'm a miller with two xmt304 and xmt450. This tiny setup works well. I made a small table for him. It would have been a 5 star rating but I had to get a lead oh and the ground wire is way too short for me. Just want to give an honest review, it welds just as well as a router, great result.
