I bought a cheap microscope (non-digital) from ToysRUS for more than I paid for it and my kids lost interest within a day. So far they liked it a lot because it was displayed on the computer. My daughter used it for her first high school biology job and included photos of insects she had taken (by capturing the images on a computer and pasting them directly into her document). Like the train set, I loved playing with it, the price couldn't be lower! UPDATE: Just a quick update. While this doesn't change my assessment, flipping through the manual I noticed a few handwritten notes and a couple of pages that were dog-like. When I opened the box I noticed that the CD appeared to have been used etc. Thing is, I seem to have received a used CD which was originally stated as 'new in box'. Again, this doesn't change my assessment of the product, but I found it a bit silly to announce something new when it clearly isn't. Probably explained by the low, low price.
