Cracking and falling out

I used the brush twice. It was kept briefly in the shower and hung in a dry place outside the shower stall for 3 days between uses. When I first used it there was a huge loss of bristles that were sticking out all over the body and arms, very uncomfortable! I tried wiping the brush with a washcloth thinking it might be an issue on first use that would go away, but that only loosened the bristles. After 3 days I used the brush again and noticed the wood was cracked and the bristle shedding was just as severe. Sent back for a refund.
