I've tried various ways to wirelessly connect to the stereo in various trucks over the years and this is by far the best so far. Although this is a fairly basic stereo system, it has a USB port on one side and an AUX port on the other. When the stereo turns on, it turns on an adapter that plugs into my phone and starts playing music. My only criticism is that the mic isn't good and I wish they had bothered to turn it on. Connecting to Android wasn't a problem, I just went into the device's settings and told it to only connect for music and not for calls, but my iPhone doesn't have that ability so it's stealing calls from my real headset. This is partly because Apple is still Apple, but I'd deduct about half a point if the adapter tries to add phone functionality and fails, rather than sticking with very good music capabilities.
