Amazing little device

After switching from my iPhone 6s to the new 11 Pro, I needed something in my car that didn't have bluetooth to play music from my phone. I really didn't want to get an adapter from Apple, and I didn't want to get one of those bluetooth devices that connect over the air. This device is so small and its setup is very simple. All you have to do is plug it into your car's charging port and aux port, and you're good to go! Every time I start the car, it automatically connects to my phone…

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • Negative experience

Really handy little adapter

I've tried various ways to wirelessly connect to the stereo in various trucks over the years and this is by far the best so far. Although this is a fairly basic stereo system, it has a USB port on one side and an AUX port on the other. When the stereo turns on, it turns on an adapter that plugs into my phone and starts playing music. My only criticism is that the mic isn't good and I wish they had bothered to turn it on. Connecting to Android wasn't a problem, I just went into the device's…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Don't like it, everything's fine

Good for the price but problems with Android

I bought 2 of these, one for my friend's 2012 Chevy Equinox and one for my 2008 Chevy Impala. She has an iPhone and I have an Android (Samsung). The device itself is very unobtrusive and is exactly what we were looking for. It also generates minimal static noise when no music is playing. I think it also has to do with the quality of the aux port it's plugged into. The device pairs perfectly and consistently with my girlfriend's iPhone, automatically when she gets in the car. Unfortunately it…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Good price but a few problems

This is a simple and inexpensive device that does what it's supposed to do, but has a few drawbacks: 1) The sound quality isn't as good as a hardwired connection, even for Streaming MP3s2 transmission) is a bit noisy (though so is the wired connection). It seems to have some sort of built-in noise reduction that cuts out the hum at breaks in music, but I suspect this causes a third problem: 3) it lags a bit and often cuts out the first few bars of a song or the beginning of spoken directions…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Secret

That is trash. Don't waste money.

Short version first, full review below. Bad: 1. Noise from almost every power supply I've tried. Tried 6.2. Noise from the block itself. Sounds like morse code.3. Sometimes only connected for an audio call.4. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all. The USB fit is too tight. Firm enough to accidentally damage the cable or connector when trying to plug it in.6. The cable is very soft and can break. Pros: 1. Nothing like that. I wish I could give 0 stars. I have an old clunky USB powered bluetooth…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Good but not great
