At first feel, this item feels flimsy and a little cheap, like you could get it at a dollar store. The material is super lightweight and it appears unable to protect the tablet. Once I got the tablet in this cover, my impression improved. The screen cover is fairly thick, and there are no issues there. I haven't dropped the unit, so I cannot speak to its protection for that kind of mishap, but it seems really secure. It makes carrying my tablet super easy and comfortable. I really like it, and am happy for the purchase. I will update once I have an accident with it. It's bound to happen b/c I carry the thing everywhere, now.Update June 9thIt's still holding up nicely, and yes, I dropped it a couple of times. Unit was fine, I pick it up and kept moving. So far, so good. I like that it's lightweight, and the screen saver is pretty tough.
