I have hood brackets for my 2013 Lexus RX350. Yes 2013. I have not found the exact replacement procedure for the 2013 model. Only found in 2011 or earlier. The existing method mainly used the method of tearing off the ends of the beam directly and snapping on new ones. Due to the difficulty of prying the old prop in my case, I first used a flathead screwdriver to pry the clamps and it's a lot easier. It's all about the bottom end (connection to the body), it doesn't give enough clearance to put a screwdriver in it. You can take the wire, flatten one end and insert the wire into the terminal first. Then use a screwdriver to pry the clips out. Much easier to do that.
