Unfortunately, the play tolerances on these lock nuts are too great, as they jam terribly in the nut supplied - not only with a striking tool, but also with a torque wrench. Two stars because they go well with the DPAccessories LCB3B5HE-BK04020 black acorn nuts, but when I couldn't remove the socket after installing a second summer tuning wheel on my STi, I had to remove it from the stud and then use a vise to clamp it to hold socket where I could pull the nut. It became apparent that I'd rather risk my wheels being stolen (unlikely) than not being able to move houses because I couldn't (likely) remove the outlet.
