Review on Zojirushi Thermal Serve Carafe: 1L Red, Made in Japan - Top-Notch Performance by Oliver Waiker

I bought this 1.6 liter carafe to replace/upgrade a Krups 1 liter carafe that I have used for many years and it still works great. Love the extra capacity and how it works better with my RSVP coffee dripper. The round "bottom" of the funnel fits just behind the carafe's threads to stand securely while I pour hot water over the coffee grounds. There's just no way the dropper will fall, even if it gets hit, unless the entire carafe falls. The hole at the top is slightly larger than the spout on the dripper, so getting the brush in is not easy. . Instead, I rinse it out with hot water after it's empty and let it sit with hot water overnight so it's pre-heated for fresh coffee each day. It keeps the coffee hot until late at night.
