This radio is very quirky. The first one I received was considered defective and randomly restarted. The loudspeaker was also missing. They went back and forth with me for a few days and eventually sent me a new one. The new one, like the old one, will not load contacts correctly. Only phone numbers are imported and the names contain some characters instead of the name. I brought this to their attention and they repeatedly sent me the same comments and screenshots saying it worked for them. That's great, it didn't work for me. In the end, they ceased correspondence. They claim that the maps are up to date. This is not the software that is used is called Igo. If you download it for your mobile phone, you will find that the maps are much more up-to-date. There is a way to copy the map files to the SD card and I have verified that it works. The speaker ring sounds like a scraping piece of tin from something rattling. Every time I make a call someone hears it and says what it is and they ask me to turn it off because it's annoying. From time to time the sound of the radio turns off and on again. I have decided not to contact them because they want videos all the time and this is an intermittent problem. They also asked me for photos of the speaker, which I didn't get. Obviously this doesn't make sense. Overall the radio is ok but if I had to do it again I would save money and buy a known brand. Sounds like luck in the raffle, you either get a good one or you don't. Sometimes the support is a bit sarcastic and sometimes they don't understand what you're asking. Please note that there are two hidden menus that require you to request codes to set some technical parameters that improve the radio's operation. The fact is that they cannot figure out why the names are not filled out when uploading contacts, they think that the maps are up to date, and they are not, and the general support along with the instructions was not very good . Finally, Windows CE is an outdated operating system for which Microsoft does not provide security updates. If you are not connected to the internet, this is not a problem. If so, then a security breach is possible. This is a genuine review written on April 21, 2021.
