I got this to easily switch my webcam (Logitech Brio) and headset (Steelseries Artic Pro) between two Windows based computers. One computer is a Dell for work that I usually use for video conferencing. The other computer is a Velocity Micro gaming machine that I usually use to record/stream games. I keep getting the "Insufficient USB controller resources" message on both computers, which is frustrating. When this message appears, I often lose. either a microphone, headset audio, or a webcam. At least two out of three work. Sometimes everything works. Sometimes I have problems right from the start. Sometimes I lose something when I open OBS. Sometimes everything is fine until I start the game. Sometimes everything works fine. I've tried the hub on both USB2 and USB3 ports with no difference. If I connect my headset and webacm directly to my computer I have no problem. Sometimes I spend an hour trying to recognize all these devices before I can play games. I often give up and connect devices directly.
