Our doorstop has a strong musty smell
Our particular doorstop had a strong musty smell - it may have been in a damaged container which caused that smell but it doesn't matter how it got that smell is. It didn't go away after a few hours of direct sunlight so I gave up and sent it back. It also looks more like a stainless steel shell over some sort of core than solid stainless steel - not that the description says so, but make sure you're aware of that fact.
