Real or Fake?: Utility Knife

The box says this is a Chicago Cutlery (CC) 62SP, one of my mother's favorite knives. I doubt the authenticity of this knife because: 1) the handle has a square edge while the CC 62SP has a rounded handle; 2) there is no CC stamp on the wooden handle; and 3) the knife didn't cost $42 as you would expect for an original CC knife, but three knives for $11.92 each, which teaches me to always read the fine print. Warning against tempters. So I take some sandpaper and round the edges, apply some polyurethane and enjoy my three knives while they last.
