Disappointing Cutlery Set for Home and Kitchen Use

This set was a letdown in terms of quality. The knives have dull edges and feel flimsy in hand. On the bright side, the stainless steel does add a nice touch to the dining table. However, the lack of sharpness in the blades makes it difficult to use for meal prep. overall, I do not recommend this product..

Pros
  • Long-lasting and durable stainless steel construction
Cons
  • May require frequent polishing to maintain shine

Real or Fake?: Utility Knife

The box says this is a Chicago Cutlery (CC) 62SP, one of my mother's favorite knives. I doubt the authenticity of this knife because: 1) the handle has a square edge while the CC 62SP has a rounded handle; 2) there is no CC stamp on the wooden handle; and 3) the knife didn't cost $42 as you would expect for an original CC knife, but three knives for $11.92 each, which teaches me to always read the fine print. Warning against tempters. So I take some sandpaper and round the edges, apply some…
