It was easy to install especially if you are replacing an existing lock. Had to flip the handle (one side attached) so just use an allen wrench to loosen and reattach the other way. Everything feels solid - the hardware grips have a heavy metallic feel. Here are 2 or 3 disadvantages: a. The handle doesn't always jump - you can see my photo. I have to gently slide it back to the horizontal positionb. The lock button is large and requires little force to press. It's not a toggle switch, so you have to use the handle to unlock it (which is fine). But pressing the lock is not easy and not smooth. I feel like I'm blocking something vs. Minor complaint - 2 screws are visible. Other locks had an extra cover to hide the screws. i.e. The opposite handle doesn't go all the way in. Why are they putting feathers in the handles at all? In everyday life it was useless. I have a 1mm gap on the back (with snap closure) between the handle and the plate. OK - I will update if anything changes. I rate it A-. At least the function works.
