The optical power level in these transceivers is not very high. Okay, maybe 50 meters. I changed the hardware and went with the Ubiquiti switch and transceivers. The fiber length was only about 97 m, but there was no connection. I've tried several pairs and they all had the same problem. I ran TDR and OPM tests. The fiber was excellent, but the power levels from these transceivers were too low to travel that distance. I bought 1G SM Bi-Di transceivers from another supplier and they worked MUCH better. I wouldn't recommend it for more than short distances.
