It was a great price. I was concerned they would be too short as a competing famous brand's product is a bit longer. It turned out that the length of this product is more than enough. I used a dremel to cut off the excess length. Others use a flashlight to loosen part of the cord and then use clippers. I have large diameter wire cutters that work as well, but I can't find them, so Dremel is the next safest option. Using paired pliers is an option but a nuisance with an increased chance of untangling.
