Review on Nikon 35mm f/1.8G Auto Focus Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras - Black (Model 2183) by Bima ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Does not meet my expectations, not worth buying.

Yes, good portraits thanks to f1.8, but even if you try to fit a person in full height, it becomes absolutely useless because there is almost no blur (portrait and portrait in Africa). I spent almost a day comparing with the whale at the same settings, the whale turned out to be sharper and clearer. Due to the Equivalent focal length - a smaller viewing angle, but this is a claim to cropped matrices. ate: lowering to 2, because. became absolutely useless after I bought "Nikon 55-300mm f / 4.5-5.6G ED DX VR AF-S Nikkor" on ebay for 8k, move back 20 meters and get a great picture.

Pros
  • f1,8 - little light is needed, although there will be no spectacular "bokeh" (in shortcomings)
Cons
  • - Loses to the whale "Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S VR II DX Zoom-Nikkor" in clarity. - I came across a model with a slight back focus, I can't straighten it on the D3300. - Price. ate: - f1,8 - when trying to fit the same object as on a full frame, you need to move away at the same distance * 1.5, there will also be a blur equivalent to f2.7, since we lose the depth of field in direct proportion to the distance from the subject.

in good lighting during the day it shoots well, but indoors 30% of the marriage in focus, so shoot only after triple confirmation of the focus
