This hose was a great deal as I saved $$ on the purchase of a returned item. These are amazing hoses and brand new so I was wondering why they were being returned but my old ones were taken down. Too worn out to reuse and I didn't want to put them back on my new G-Force 2-String Aluminum Radiator, plus they were only slightly more expensive than the standard replacement rubber hoses. As soon as I received the new silicone tubing I knew immediately why they were being returned and it wasn't because of poor quality or mechanical issues, but THEY WERE NOT RED, the box was marked RED, the tubing picture on the box looked stunning RED. hoses, but not these, they are black. HMMFF! I really needed to get this car back on the road so I went ahead and installed them. Now they are perfect just painted with BLACK high performance silicone radiator hoses and I am very happy with the offer I got. If a random factory change allowed me to get a high-tech, high-performance upgrade that I wouldn't otherwise get for such a small extra coin - be that as it may - I'm happy with my new black radiator hoses for my red GTO. **Installation Note** If it seems impossible to push the bottom hose onto the T-Stat housing weir, don't give up, just flip it, the hose is a different diameter at each end, not by much, but enough to make it it didn't fit.
