I bought this SSD for my Macbook Pro in April. It seemed to work fine for several months. Then when I backed up the hard drive with Apple Time Machine, the drive died. I removed the drive and tried connecting it externally to another computer, but the drive is constantly red and not recognized or connected. It could just be a bug and my SSD got corrupted somehow, but I would suggest you do your research and decide if this drive is worth the headache. I ended up returning it to SP and they replaced it. However, the new one lasted about three months and also died. If I could give less than one star I would. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash on a reputable ride.
