Review on Heininger 6001 Advantage SportsRack Threaded by Jim Acquista

I bought a Heininger 6000 extension and a 6001 threaded hitch lock at the same time. I haven't tested it yet, but it seems to be working, doing what I wanted. My bike rack now fits my Wrangler, leaving room in the back for a 12.5" wide spare. I really like having more than one pin arrangement. I wasn't sure if the locking thread would fit the extension but it does. Despite the very small gap around my hitch, I was able to install and secure it. I had to insert it from the left as the clutch harness connection interfered with the lock when inserted from the right. I've also found that the hitch lock on my 2" Yakima receiver also mates with the same thread. If I had known that, I could have bought another one instead. It would be nice to have a key for everything. The only downside I had was that the 6001 and 6000 sold out together, meaning I had to pay shipping for both from two different Revain stores.
