This dress is very vintage (1980s) style, fun and comfortable. It fits true to size; My daughter is 3 years old and wears a size 3-4. She is taller for her age and there is room for growth in this dress. The rainbow sleeves combined with the butterflies on the skirt and rainbow on the bodice remind me of popular characters from the 1980s and 1990s. The colors are bright and vibrant and the dress itself stands out for its uniqueness. Upon arrival I washed this dress on the normal cycle and then hung it to dry. There are a few threads sticking out, but that doesn't disturb the structure of the dress. There were no flaws with the 3D butterflies. They are felt material with an embroidered body and antenna. The embroidery holds the fabric to the skirt and is very secure, with a backing on the inside of the skirt to further protect it from accidental wear. This dress is beautifully designed and made; it is excellent value for money. My daughter really enjoys wearing this dress and I love how easy it is to wash. Puff sleeves and buttons at the back add cute details to this very cute and colorful dress. I would definitely recommend this.
