Review on 🚘 Dorman 924-400 Door Mirror Drive Motor for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury Models by Peter Alradwan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fits snug but very wobbly

I bought this because I broke an old one trying to remove the mirror to replace the turn signals on the underside of the housing. I have an auto dimming mirror and didn't want to buy a whole new assembly and luckily I could just buy a motor. It is very easy to assemble and fits exactly. The only problem is that the mirror wobbles when driving on the road and actually jumps out of position when going over bumps. It's obviously better than the duct tape holding the mirror in place and will allow for a better resale in a few months, but if I were going to leave the truck longer I'd buy the $70 Motorcraft from Ford.
