What I like most about this product is that it is wireless. I personally don't like a lot of cables on the countertop. I have other wine bottle openers but I keep them in the closet because I don't want the strings on the countertop. Then when I use them, they are empty and I cannot use them. Because it's battery operated and compact, it looks nice on my counter AND it doesn't have a cord. I also like having a docking station. I can always find a cutter and have a fancy cork on hand. Mechanically it works perfectly. But actually I like how it looks best.
