Robust surge protection with metal housing for home and office.

I'm an electrical engineer. Twenty years of experience in electronics. When you need surge protection for your home entertainment or office, the AXTRA 8-outlet power strip is your best choice. It has the critical auto-off feature, more than enough outlets to power all your devices. It provides excellent protection against house surges coming from other devices in your house or surges. It has a 9 foot cable and the metal body feels solid and reliable. Instead, it adds two USB ports so you don't have to sacrifice outlets to charge your phone, tablet, or other small device. These surge protectors will do a lot to protect your property from direct lightning strikes. This can help with the much more common power surges that occur in your home or building. They can also protect against accidental surges from your utility company and are especially useful in areas with unreliable power grids. I recommend at least 8 outlets for basic, runner-up, and high-end competitors, at least four for bedside competitors, and one or more for light electronics. 9ft power cord makes it more convenient and safer to use. Integrated cord wrap with hanging holes for easy cord management. Built-in keyhole slots on the bottom allow for convenient wall or table mounting. The yellow outlet alerts you and others to the use of power cords and tools. It's really well made with a very sturdy body and surge protection. Friendly Tips: Never connect multiple surge protectors to add outlets, or connect a surge protector to an extension cord. This is an easy way to exceed the current ratings of your line filter and even the wiring in your walls. In the best-case scenario, you trigger the switch or the fuse blows. In the worst case, something starts to melt. This is the opening number for an electric fire. Never plug a surge protector into an ungrounded outlet using a three-prong to two-prong adapter. Always replace surge protectors after a major lightning strike to equipment, multiple power outages in rapid succession, and when plugging in new equipment, check each outlet for signs of burns or damage. Do not connect heaters to extension cords. Cords or extension cords, as the heater uses a lot of electricity and this increases the likelihood of overloading the outlet.
