A sieve is inserted in this paper filter. When your screen paint or slightly sticky paint needs a stirrer or two, the screen rises and lets the particles through. Additionally, strainers that come with a flexible silicone funnel must be folded to fit in the included funnel. It would be great if the items sold actually worked independently or even with each other. I would say nice try. But they obviously didn't really use these items before putting them up for sale together. I will be getting mine back along with re-filtering the already diluted mixed paint that I was unable to filter tonight. i want my time back Thanks very much!
