I'm not a sound specialist but have worked with other cardio mics in the past. The microphone itself USB Type-C is a handy feature for use with phones and tablets. The standard mic threads are good if you want to hang it on your arm or other stand. Very nicely packaged and comes with everything you need including 2 USB cables and nicely written instructions Cons: Sounds pretty tiny and sacred to me when recording my voice. Your mouth needs to be 1-3 inches from the mic for it to sound decent (and only with a tabletop stand can this be an issue). has minimal vibration suppression measures. The supplied headphone output can exhibit noise if the volume is too high. Overall this is a good mic if you want a mic with gain control, as well as a headphone output for the mic itself. I would recommend getting a hand for it so you don't have to hold it with your hand to get a clear output. I got this mic for free from the manufacturer, but that doesn't affect my options in any way.
