I was also scammed into buying an Indian version of the heel switch for my Chieftain LTD. It's too expensive to install. Worse, it was a security risk! The Indian counter heel covered at least a third of the floorboard. I only wear a size 10 shoe, but my foot was always turned almost square when I leaned on the floorboard. It was uncomfortable and distracting. Crazy. The person who designed the OEM heel switch never used one. It was funny. This sits a hook behind the board - just as it should be! So much better and so much safer! Also less expensive. I recommend this over the OEM version.
