The type of coil determines the length of the wire.
If you say it doesn't fit, do your research first. Depending on what coils you have will determine the length of the wire. I studied my coils and these wires fit perfectly. Square truck coils require longer wires, they are suitable for round coils or Ls2 type coils. Round coils were more commonly used on 6.0s.
