Review on Think Fun Coaster Challenge Building by Omar Alradwan

Sounds funny. But for the most part it wasn't.

Sounds like a fun idea, but it wasn't well designed. First, production problems. Even on a properly constructed slide, the slide sometimes flies off the rails or gets stuck. And they should include a backup stand. If the one they provide flies to an inaccessible place, you're stuck. The colors printed on the cards do not match the actual parts. You can still match them with a little thought, but that's an added complication when a young child has to figure out that the purple in the brochure is actually blue. The yellow loop is made of a harder plastic and is very difficult to attach to others; I'm afraid the little plugs will eventually break. This is a fun toy for a few rounds, but other (great) toys and puzzles from this company offer more attention and less hassle. You can call almost any practical toy "educational," and if you're trying to sell it, you probably will. This one hardly fits. Compared to the more complex puzzles in Rush Hour or Gravity Maze from the same company, the puzzles in this game are downright easy. It takes more hands than brains. There's nothing wrong with that, just don't do it with the wrong expectations.

Pros
  • One-year trial
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
