We were attracted to this air conditioner because it's smart and works with Alexa. Ooooh! Hooray! Yes No! The app is clumsy. Alexa works with it, but hardly. BUT THIS IS NO PROBLEM WITH THIS AC PACK. That thing is LOUD! When it comes to my wife, it's hard for us to have a normal conversation. We have to turn the TV on too loud (sorry neighbors) and it's not quiet as they advertise. Besides, it's not that cool. We have a 1 bedroom condo and a 14,000 BTU unit and that's not enough. Oh yeah, we moved to Seattle from Southern California and it really isn't that hot here, but this AC doesn't cool the condo like the unit we had in Southern California (we had to keep it). And the exhaust pipe melts/wrinkles. And you can feel the heat coming out of the tailpipe while other portable air conditioners I've had before (I've had 3 in 12+ years) and this one is hottest out of the tailpipe, noisiest and doesn't cool our apartment. The only good thing about this device is that the top of the touchscreen is cool. And the design is beautiful. That's all.
