I run on foot - usually a distance of 4.5 miles. I don't like wet sneakers. I wanted to wear a shoe lining that would keep my sneakers dry in the rain and also protect against wet pavement/puddle splashes. I thought I'd try these out. I love her! I wear women's sneakers in size 9.5. I ordered the XXL version. They fit great - snug with no excess fabric flapping - but I don't have to stretch them to put them on. Front zip and inner flap provide wide access. While the fabric/elastic strap that snaps onto the front of the shoe keeps it on the foot. There are also small laces along the top edge to fit snugly around the foot. When I was looking for a rain cover for my running shoes, three things bothered me: light but durable, traction (they have a great tread on the bottom that protects the ground and gives enough grip on the pavement) and fit. Honestly - they exceeded my expectations on all fronts. You have thought of everything. I've only used them once but they did their job perfectly with no wear or issues. Try it! For the price you will be very satisfied.
