I use mandolins several times a week because I cook every day. I like the ones I've been using for a few years but the blades have been getting duller and duller. I decided it was time to buy a new one, spicier, with more slices to choose from. I have it and it's terrible. The blades are not as sharp and functional as my old dull one. I returned to use it. The mandolin slicer takes all my strength to push through the veggies and most of the time it gets stuck halfway. That seems dangerous!
